Advancing the Well-being of Children and Youth
All children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential. It is critical to prevent more children from suffering tragedies of abuse, neglect or abandonment. Children deserve the right to live without violence, and have access to the resources to become healthy citizens in this world. Access to education is a basic human right. It reduces poverty and child labor and offers the tools needed to succeed in life.
Everyone should have access to high quality essential health services without financial hardship. Working together to deliver health care is critical to the overall positive development of communities and sustainable livelihoods. It is important to improve the health of disadvantaged communities as a means for them to escape poverty and improve the quality of their lives.
